THE STANDARD IN PIPELINE SOLUTIONS
BREAKERS & PLUGS
FOR EROSION CONTROL
When pipelines are installed on inclines, erosion can threaten both the surrounding terrain and the integrity of the line itself. Our polyurethane foam breakers provide a superior alternative to traditional sandbag erosion control, creating durable, reliable barriers that keep ditch lines and hillsides firmly in place.
Designed to form a complete seal, our foam breakers redirect water to the top of the ditch and away from pipeline edges, preventing washouts and ground movement. Unlike sandbags, our polyurethane barriers will not rot, break down, or deteriorate over time. They’re built to endure — often outlasting the pipeline itself.
PILLOWS
FOR PIPE SUPPORT
McCormick Ventures provides custom-formed foam pillows (pipe supports) for pipelines of any diameter or wall thickness, fabricated directly on-site for maximum efficiency. For projects that don’t require mobile service, we also supply pre-made pillows, along with specialized wedge pillows, and can support corrosion dig-up work as needed.
Pillows are available individually or in bulk quantities, including full trailer loads. For added convenience, trailer rentals are available for delivery, with options ranging from 20’ to 45’ units.
ROCK GUARD
FOR PIPE PROTECTION
For pipelines installed in rocky conditions, polyurethane foam provides superior protection by conforming to the contours of the pipe, effectively acting as a durable, protective “skin.”
Foam thickness can be adjusted to match the severity of surrounding conditions, ensuring optimal performance. Spray-on polyurethane foam delivers long-lasting protection that consistently outperforms traditional wrap-on solutions.
WELD JOINTS
FOR CORROSION PROTECTION
McCormick Ventures delivers comprehensive field joint solutions with high-performance polyurethane foam designed to provide superior insulation and corrosion protection.
We are one of only two pipeline spray foam companies certified to provide a weld-joint foam application and procedure that meets the requirements of CSA Z245.30. Injection weld joints are the only method that meets this new standard. Our procedure ensures the foam chemically bonds to both the existing insulation and the pipe itself—something that cannot be achieved with traditional half-shell insulation.
This integrated approach ensures a complete, long-lasting seal for every weld joint, maximizing durability and reliability in demanding pipeline environments
